Mad Science After School Club

Mad Science arrives at Youthtown Term 3 2008. This club is a hands-on one hour science programme that are themed around a particular area of science and include such topics as rocketry, magnets, polymers and even the science of toys. Children will engage in exciting hands-on activities, watch spectacular demonstartions, participate in inquiry-based discussions and take home things that they have made themselves like model rockets, periscopes, Mad Science putty and more.

Mad Science After School Club will offer children a chance to see just how cool science can be!

TERM 3 - Starts 29th July with a 9 week NASA programme

MONDAYS - 4.00pm - 5.30pm or FRIDAYS - 4.00pm- 5.30pm

COST-

$90.00 (already enrolled at Youthtown) or $150.00 (new enrolments which includes transport from School & Afternoon Tea)

Topics include: Planets and Moons, Atmosphere and beyond,Rocket Science, Space and Travel, Living in Space, Space Phenomena, Sun & Stars and Space technology
