In- schools coaching Programme for all School in the Greater Auckland Region Area. In association with local basketball Association Waitakere basketball, Auckland Basketball, Counties Basketball. Youthtown offer's up-to 2 hours per school per week of in-school basketball coaching, and will be delivering up-to 8-10 schools per-term

1st term (3rd March to 18th April)
Period: (2nd term 5th May to 4th July)
Period: (3rd term 28th July to 26th September)
Period: (4th term 13th October to 12th December)

This Programme has no charge to schools that Register 2 weeks before the start of terms (so be in quick).

What Youthtown offers?

• 6 to 8 trained Coaching staff that will deliver basketball fundamentals to your students or teams.
• All Basketball equipment needed to Run Session
• Help or Liaison with Sports coordinators to develop a basketball Programme in your school (if hrs permitted)

Youthtown Basketball Camps are run during weekends and school holidays some of these camp well be run for teams only and some camps will accommodate all ages and levels and there will be limited spaces.

Youthtown Basketball Camps for 2008 season Schedule is:
Youthtown will be running in the 2008 season up-to 7-8 camps depending on Stadium availability

Camp 1
Dates: TBC
Venue: Youthtown Times 10am to 12pm and then 1pm to 3pm.

Camp 2
Dates: TBC
Venue: ASB Stadium, Kohimarama 10am to 12pm and then 1pm to 3pm.

The Youthtown Rising stars elite programme identifier's young and potential basketball players to reach there goals. Auckland Representative teams, BBNZ age groups, Auckland WCBL, WNBL, Youthtown Auckland Stars, NBL NZ Breakers and Tall Blacks. The Programme also has a pathway for Scholarships to the United States as in 2007 we have sent two young Athletes over Trina Noon, Charlie Piho. As a part of the Rising Stars Elite Programme.

In addition a Run and Shoot League will be happening 13 October to 8 December.
From 6.30 onward full court 5 on 5 scrimmages are held at Youthtown.
Bring a team of 5 along or make a team up with players on the night. Rules apply to Run and Shoot Night.

1. 1st team to 15 points or closest to when clock run out.
2. 5 Minute running clock games
3. Points scored like normal game situation
4. 1 point to opposition for a foul and offensive team possession.
5. All offensive team over halfway for score to count.

Youthtown offers this programme to all Primary,
Intermediate and High Schools schools in the greater
Auckland Area. The programme teaches the students that
attend the basic fundamentals of the game of Basketball. We
have specialized accredited coaches and this programme is
at no cost to the schools.
